What are they listening too now..

What are the tunes dominating the Tap Thats playlists...

TELLY

Favorite Podcast:

I'm on the road and stuck in LA traffic on the daily for hours and podcasts are my jam! I love "Oprahs Master Class" which explores role models who are making a big impact on this world and explores their journey. I also am an avid listener of Julie Solomons Influencer Podcast - she keeps it real and I like that. Serial was EPIC and Joe Rogan is the MAN!

Fave throw back song of all time:

Can I have a few...? "Spinning Around" Kylie Minogue, "Mmm Bop" Hansen, "Spice up your Life" Spice Girls and The WHOLE Grease Soundtrack!

What tune is dominating your playlist:

Haha! Honestly... Our show songs and wedding playlists. BUT if I am to put these aside... I've been really enjoying "Feel Good Ft Daya" by Illenium.

Favorite song to tap dance too:

The remix version of Bang Bang Ft Jessie J, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj. There are so many shifts in this song and a mad fun beat that make this song a stylistic heaven to tap and create too! I tend to really like the remix versions of pretty much all songs for creating.

Song you been meaning to choreograph too:

"This is me" by New Found Glory

Your go to feel good song:

"I wanna dance with somebody" - Whitney Housten

When you are feeling reckless:

"Livin on a prayer" - Bon Jovi

Song to feel inspired by:

I get inspired by lyrics and beautiful melodic vocal lines. Eg. "Rise Up" - Andra Day , "A Million Dreams" - Pink version, "Girl on fire" - Alecia Keys.

Audio books? Or read a book?  what was the last book you read?

I 100% prefer to physically hold a book and read it. It takes you away from screens and I listen to podcasts and music all the time.. reading to me indicates a little relax "me" time. It's rare... but when I do, I enjoy books that teach you something. My last book I read was "Big Magic" by Elizabeth Gilbert.

EMMA

Favorite Podcast:

"Ologies" hosted by Alie Ward is the perfect podcast for fact-nerds like me. She talks about the history and study of wild topics such as eggs, gratitude, and crow funerals (my personal favorite) with professionals in that -ology field. I started listening to it on my drives in Iceland; it kept my brain going on my daily treks. Your new party trick is going to be having a random, interesting fact about almost everything.

Fave throw back song of all time:

"Just What I Needed" by the Cars

What tune is dominating your playlist:

As of today, "Text Me" by DPR LIVE, and everything BTS. I'm the kind of person that plays songs on repeat until I get sick of them.

Favorite song to tap dance too:

"It's Only A Paper Moon" is my go-to jazz standard and definitely the most fun for me to tap with because I know it so well!

Song you been meaning to choreograph too:

"Dancing Shoes" by Arctic Monkeys. I am big into choreographing to rock music.

Your go to feel good song:

"I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" by the Proclaimers.

When you are feeling reckless:

"Don't Hurt Yourself" by Beyoncé and Jack White.

Song to feel inspired by:

Not specific to one song, I get super inspired listening to music that crosses genres. There's something about hearing something that you can't describe but speaks to your soul. Not limited to English, as well. I don't care if I can understand what the lyrics are as long as I can feel the story in the voices and instruments. Each component has a purpose.

Audio books? Or read a book?  what was the last book you read?

I always prefer holding the physical book than listening. It's sentimental to me. I'm currently reading Women who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés. It's a compilation of myths and stories speaking to the nature of women and importance of embracing everything we are. It's dense and takes time to absorb, and certainly worth the time.

KATE

Favorite Podcast:

- At the moment I'm  listening to 'Armchair Expert' with Dax Shepard. He is hilarious and chats to some of my favorite people such as  Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Kristin Bell, Amy Schumer & so many more! I  also LOVE listening to 'The Influencer Podcast' with Julie Solomon while I'm driving and 'Bigger Pockets Real Estate Podcast'.

Fave throw back song of all time:

- Ahhhh there are just too many to choose from! My favs would have to be anything by the 'Spice Girls' & Old school Mariah Carey/ Britney/ Janet Jackson! Oh and anything Aussie! My family would always play Aussie artists at home growing up! Some of my favs would have to be 'Cold Chisel' &  'INXS'.

What tune is dominating your playlist:

- At the moment it's 'Cool' on the new Joans Brothers album.

And also James Arther and John Mayer are o rotation daily!

Favorite song to tap dance too:

- "Ive Got Rhythm" - the cover version by Nikki Yanofsky

Song you been meaning to choreograph too:

- "The lady is a Tramp" - Sung by Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga

Your go to feel good song:

- 100% 'Come on Eileen'  (hehe) also"Sweet Creature" by Harry Styles (such a beautiful song! I  often start off my days listening to this tune)

When you are feeling reckless:

- Hard to pin point just one.....Definitely any road trip tunes! Love cracking the music up when I'm driving! Kelly Clarkson is usually involved! :)

Song to feel inspired by:

- Ooo this is a tricky one. This definitely changes depending on what I  am feeling inspired about. Sometimes it may be a huge rock song, other time I'm listening to mellow song and some times even a sad love song. It honestly depends on the time and place. However I   usually get inspired at night time!

Audio books? Or read a book?  what was the last book you read?

- I  don't love to listen to audio books. I'm definitely more of a visual reader. I    love to read blog posts or articles online. This may sound very nerdy but my favorite books to read are 'Home' book and 'Recipe' books. The last couple I    have read were "Magnolia Table" by Joanna Gains & "Cravings" by Chrissy Teigen.

“I Want You” by Alison Wonderland or “212” by Azalea Banks! Trust me.

“Brand New” by Ben Rector, not so much the lyrics but I like to play it on the way to auditions. It’s just a mood lifting song! Or “Try Everything” by Shakira
